The foundation of my sex counseling work is the sexological model Sexocorporel, developed by Prof. Jean-Yves Desjardins at the Département de Sexologie of the Université du Québec in Montréal.

This approach to sexual health focuses on clients' existing resources and potentials. Through specific learning steps, sexual development is encouraged, enabling an active and conscious approach to sexuality. Various aspects of sexuality are explored and integrated. The counseling includes conversations, body exercises, and perception training.

What makes Sexocorporel-based sex counseling unique is its holistic view of the body-mind connection, emphasizing that sexual learning happens through the body. This means that while sexual concerns are discussed, they are not endlessly analyzed. Instead, the focus is on how a person experiences sexuality—what the body does and how this influences emotions and thoughts.

My work incorporates movement, rhythm, muscle tone (tension/relaxation), and spatial awareness. Through guided exercises and tailored homework, ingrained patterns that contribute to sexual difficulties can be disrupted and relearned. This process strengthens perception and sensation, allowing for deeper change and growth
